Swim at Haven Beach Club!

Fun, friendship and cultivating a love of swimming – in a safe, nurturing environment – is what makes the Haven Beach Club swim program like no other!

As the only social club on Long Beach Island with an outdoor, six-lane, 25-meter pool beautifully nestled alongside Barnegat Bay, we provide a robust aquatics program for our members offering both morning swim lessons and afternoon swim team for children of all ages at various levels of development. Our picturesque bayside pool is also open daily for recreational swimming for members of all ages. HBC Swim programs start making waves June 24, 2024, and run for eight weeks concluding on or around August 16, 2024.


HBC Pool Rules & Pool Guest Policy

  1. The pool is closed during swim team practice, swim meets and for special events.
  2. Pool hours are subject to change at Manager’s discretion.
  3. Lifeguards must be obeyed at all times.
  4. If no lifeguards are on duty, you swim at your own risk. HBC will not be held responsible or liable for injuries or damages occurred will swimming at your own risk. Swim only with adult supervision and never swim alone.
  5. ALL pool members must sign in on the daily register before entering the pool.
  6. Pool members must accompany pool guest(s). Pool member must sign in—both the member and the guest(s) on the daily register and pay the daily guest fees ($10.00 per adult guest, $5.00 per child guest).
  7. Swimmers are requested to shower before entering the pool. Proper attire must be worn; use restroom areas to change. Do not change babies or toddlers on pool deck.
  8. Diving is permitted in the deep end of the pool only; diving is prohibited in the shallow end of the pool.
  9. No running on pool deck; no horseplay in or around pool.
  10. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult while swimming, (optional during swim instruction).
  11. No food, gum, or drinks in the immediate pool-side area. No glass of any type is allowed in pool area or on pool deck.
  12. Persons with open wounds will not be permitted in pool.
  13. Children who are not potty trained and incontinent adults may use the pool provided they wear swim diapers that are covered with plastic pants that include elastic bands at the legs and waist as per the state of NJ and CDC recommendations.
  14. Swimming aids must be USCG approved. Swim-type toys are permitted with Manager and lifeguard’s permission.
